Auto Electrician

We have a position for a Heavy Diesel Auto Electrician to join our dynamic team. The role will attract a pay rate of $38-$45 per hour depending on skill & experience. We support UD, Western Star and MAN franchises but work on all makes, models and size trucks.

Candidates for this role should ideally have at least 3 years of experience as an auto electrician working on heavy vehicles. A formal relevant qualification is preferred but not essential. You need to have a drivers licence. Good oral and written English and have NZ Residency - living in NZ.

The role guarantees a minimum of 45 hours per week and the maximum hours of 50 per week. Weekend work is required occasionally by arrangement. The work is varied and requires you to be flexible, reliable and punctual.

You need to be able to carry out the following tasks:

• Electrical repairs for general servicing
• Electrical repairs for Certificate of Fitness
• Computer diagnostic interpretation and repair on various brands of trucks.
• Installation of GPS tracking devices
• Comply to Health and Safety standards
• Work with fellow work mates and clients
• MUST HAVE RESIDENCY AND LIVE IN NEW ZEALAND
